According to media reports eight persons arrested for allegedly leaking DSSSB question paper for the exam of PRT held on 29th October 2017.
(AATS) Anti Auto Theft Squad of west district caught the accused from Prahladpur village when they were sitting in Govt. School playground and solving the paper and passing the information over the phone.The cheating took place in Vikaspuri. Police said that accused gave aspirants pendants with Bluetooth devices to help them to cheat.
Police had received a tip-off about people procuring Bluetooth devices on Saturday.
The accused said a govt. Employee working as a physical training inspector, had lured them by promising ₹2 lacs each. “He approached candidates and struck a deal at ₹12 lacs each. He gave them Bluetooth devices stuck inside a pendant and microphone in the shape of Medical Tablet,” police said.
“Police suspect there is a possibility of an insider’s role as they received the different question keys within 30 minutes of the exam starting,” the officer said. The matter was reported to the Delhi Police chief.
Now candidates are waiting for the next statement by DSSSB regarding the matter.
